Creative Instructions...back by popular demand meet-up member Margaret Laurena Kemp's play is back! In October 2006 Margaret produced a workshop presentation of her play. Now she is trying to juggle the bookings she has received to perform. Please check out this wonderful play. A truly unique experience in the Historic Crenshaw district. Lucy Florence Cultural Center presents an encore performance of 'Creative Instructions? ' This riveting solo play examines the instructions we are given for living and how they affect the way we live. The autobiographical narrative charts writer performer Margaret Laurena Kemp's journey from girlhood to womanhood through the path of her own breath as it flows and doesn't flow through her body. It is a mixture of intimate storytelling, wit, personal observation and social commentary. Cellist / Composer Longo Chu provides live accompaniment. The show, directed by Jill Remez with choreography by William F. Lett, runs at Lucy Florence Cultural Center, 3351 W. 43rd Street ( Leimert Park Village) Los Angeles, CA 90008 Creative Instructions....
